Crucial role in £55 million hotels sale

Davidson Webber advised The Thistle Group on the sale of two London hotels for the value of £55million to budget hotel operator Travelodge. Russell Davidson (managing partner of DW) lead a team of property and corporate lawyers on the transaction. Thistle has sold the 375 bed Thistle London Islington and the 211 bed Thistle London Ryan, both in Kings Cross area, to Travelodge owned by private equity group Permira.

Also the firm recently completed the new lease of the Selfridge Hotel in London on behalf of the Thistle Hotels Group.
