DW assists in sale of local building services company

Davidson Webber LLP has completed the sale of the business and assets of PGK Building Services Limited out of administration through a one man management buy out lead by Barry Young (the former managing director of the building services company). The business and assets were acquired for an undisclosed sum by Mr Young’s company PGK (Painters & Decorators) Limited which purchased the business and assets from the administrator.

Davidson Webber LLP acted for the administrator Jackson Jolliffe Cork. Neil Large, corporate partner at Davidson Webber LLP, commented “we are regularly involved in corporate recovery and turnaround work, but this is our first instruction to act for Jackson Jolliffe Cork on the insolvency side. We were delighted to assist them in the sale of the business and assets which has enabled valueable parts of the business and customer contracts to be preserved and some jobs saved.
